Runtime Database with Sharepoint

I use Office 365. I have developed quite a few databases that connect to SharePoint Lists, and they work great. However, I tried to use Runtime on a pc that doesn't have Access installed, the database will pull up, BUT will not connect to the SharePoint Lists. Any ideas would be appreciated.
