Sub form apply filter

Hi All



I hope you can help



I have a form which has a text box, button and subform. The subform has textboxes which need to populate values from a query where the text is = to the textbox.



I have tried using 'ApplyFilter' macro but I am getting the error message as : The 'ApplyFilter' action requires a valid control name.



Here is the macro I currently have.



[Forms]![Navigation Form]![EngineeringTasks].[Form]![Contract]=[Forms]![Navigation Form]![Text20]



Can anyone help me please?
