I've spent about a week Googling and seeking a means for this and the best I found was Stephen Lebans http://ift.tt/1zeP9li.
However, when his fTextWidth() returns > about 5300 the text box width is too narrow. The error increases as that value become more. Values less that 5300ish size perfectly.
It's beyond my expertise to work out why, but I have tried! Maybe someone here has found this and has/can find a solution ? Or has an alternative suggestion.
