Hello all. Using Access 2007.
Problem : I have a combo-box that has an event, UponExit it fills a textbox (field) with the current date and time. What I would like to do is, once the combo-box has been exited, for the textbox's value not to change upon activating the event again.
Probable solution : Create an event for the textbox, which will freeze the value of the first entry. I have some idea how to do this, I just don't have any programing know-how to write the short code for this.
Idea for the code :
Private Sub Gus_AfterUpdate()
If Me.textbox.value = True Then (so if the textbox has a value inside it then...)
Me.textbox.value = Value Unchanged? (...upon trying to add a new value in anyway would be blocked.)
End Sub
